A visual novel about identity, transformation, and the chaos of a virus nobody understands.

About the Game

A new virus is spreading — simply known as "The V."

Its effects are unpredictable. Most people who catch it experience nothing worse than a rough fever. But for a small percentage of the infected, the virus rewrites the body entirely: age resets, gender shifts, and everyone affected wakes up transformed into a young woman between 18 and 25. The process is fast, painful, and impossible to prepare for.

The V is an anthology-style visual novel. Rather than following a single continuous story, each chapter explores a different character caught in the aftermath of infection — their confusion, their awkwardness, their humor, and their pain, as they try to adjust to a world that looks at them differently overnight.

The tone is a mix of drama, dark humor, and quiet emotional moments — not a comedy, not a tragedy, somewhere in between.

Please Read Before Playing

This is the very first version of the game. It is a foundation, not a finished product. Expect a short playtime, and expect some rough edges as this is a newer style of project for me.

The V will always remain free for everyone, forever — that will never change.

However, going forward:

• New chapters will first be released early to paying Patreon supporters.
• They will later be added to this itch.io page for free, once the next chapter is ready and released publicly.

This structure allows me to keep expanding the story while continuing work on my main project, Expansera.
